Something about the way Perelleth writes makes her story have a lot of emotional weight. I've thought about it and can't quite identify it, except that her own writing tends to be pretty similar to my own. Whatever it is, I found myself smiling, giggling, and even snorting at different points in "Mathom", and tearing up a little at "Last Goodbye Series". Her writing is powerful and I look forward to reading more by her.
